Position Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and skilled QA Engineer to oversee the quality assurance processes and produce comprehensive technical documentation for our security printing systems. This role is crucial to our success, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Additionally, the QA Engineer will be responsible for writing user acceptance testing (UAT) documents, system specifications, user manuals, test cases, and test plans, and performing system tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of our security printing systems to identify and resolve any defects or issues. Ensure that all products meet our stringent quality standards before they are released to customers.
- Technical Writing: Create detailed and accurate technical documentation, including UAT documents, system specifications, user manuals, test cases, and test plans. Ensure that all documentation is clear, concise, and user-friendly.
- System Testing: Perform comprehensive system tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our products.
- UAT and Training: Travel to customer sites to conduct UAT and provide training to customers on the use of our systems. Ensure that customers are fully equipped to use our products effectively and efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our development, product management, and customer support teams to ensure that all quality assurance and technical documentation needs are met. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve our products and processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA and technical writing. Continuously seek ways to improve our quality assurance processes and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong emphasis on technical writing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing technical documents such as UAT documents, system specifications, user manuals, test cases, and test plans. Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices. Test automation experience is preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites for UAT and training purposes. Flexibility to adapt to different time zones and work environments.
