Toppan Gravity is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales & Business Development Director to spearhead our expansion across the USA. This pivotal role requires an individual who excels at cultivating relationships and seizing business opportunities within the payment/financial sector and transportation industry, leveraging its expertise to drive our growth trajectory in the US market.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute a customer-centric business development and market growth strategy to drive sales and profitability, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, engaging with key clients to secure deals and expand our customer base.
- Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets for the region, leveraging key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive short and long-term results.
- Foster deep relationships with senior management and C-level executives at client organizations, leveraging these connections to upsell innovative solutions and maximize revenue.
- Identify and understand trends within client departments, the overall industry and competitive landscape.
- Conduct proactive client research and deliver industry-specific insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Manage pipeline and revenue forecasts on a regular basis (weekly, monthly and quarterly), ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement differentiated solutions that drive profitability.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, representing Toppan Gravity at industry events and business meetings, showcasing our products and services to potential clients.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally dynamic and driven individual with an extensive and autonomous approach to business development, focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving; breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items.
- Dynamic and driven individual with a proven track record in business development, preferably within the cards industry.
- Extensive network within the transportation and payment institutions/fintech landscape across the US.
- Background in cards industry, payments, or digital solutions preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with a client-centric approach to solution-selling, capable of articulating value propositions based on deep client understanding.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and manage complex negotiations to successful closure and execution.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue forecasting and P&L management.
- Fluent in English (oral and written), proficiency in other languages a plus.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
